Hello communities

I’m using **AS6** , and I’m trying to test **X20CP0410** , **X20CP0411** , and **X20CP0484**.
I downloaded **AS6\_AR\_6.4.2\_X20CP04xx** and performed the upgrade.
After that, I pressed the reset button on the PLC, set the IP address, and downloaded the project.

However, as you can see in the image, I’m getting a message saying that the **runtime could not be updated**.
What could be causing this issue?

It seems the issue was caused by the PLC hardware itself failing. I couldn’t find a way to repair the broken unit, but using a new device will solve the problem easily.

Hi Hansol,

Thanks for providing the solution to your problem! Since you know one particular PLC is having this problem, you may be able to reach out to your local B&R support team and see if they can solve this problem, or help you repair the PLC.

I can’t mark the original post as the solution, so I’m copying the solution here and marking this post instead:
