ACOPOS 6D Controller Not Powering On

Hello Community,

I connected the ACOPOS 6D controller to the power supply but the ACOPOS 6D controller is not powering On. All LEDs remains off.

Methods I’ve tried:

  1. Measured 24V at the power supply output.
  2. Exchange the power supply with another working unit.

Both methods above gives me the same result.

Can anyone suggest any other method to troubleshoot or what will possibly be the issue?

Thank you!

Regards,
Alvin

Hi Alvin

Some checks that may help troubleshoot:

  1. Verify 24VDC not only at the power supply output, but directly at the controller power input terminals.

  2. Check correct polarity (+24V / 0V).

  3. Disconnect all external connections (Ethernet / fieldbus / I/O) and power only the controller.

  4. Check if supply voltage drops during startup due to overload or short circuit.

  5. If correct voltage is present at controller terminals and still no LEDs, possible internal hardware fault.

Hope this helps.

Hi @alvin.lim , I have seen an issue before where a 6D power supply box was not providing power due to a terminal block having a fuse that was blown. If you have one of these terminal blocks in your power supply box, I would recommend taking it out and checking the fuse, and if it looks blown, replace the fuse or the whole terminal block.

If this is your issue, it could have been caused by a short in your power cable. I would recommend checking the continuity of the individual wires in the cable with a multimeter.

Hi @alvin.lim have you found solution for your issue?
