Hi everyone, I currently have an Automation PC 3200 (APC3200) equipped with 8 GB of RAM. I would like to know if it’s possible to expand the memory by using the second slot—for example, by adding another 8 GB stick to reach a total of 16 GB. Does the hardware support this specific configuration, and are there any specific technical requirements I should be aware of? Thanks in advance for your help! ---

Yes it is possible to install more RAM to the APC3200(and PPC3200), instructions available in Automation Help here: [Installing the interface option and DDR4 SDRAM](https://help.br-automation.com/#/en/6/hardware/automationpc3200/montage_if_option_und_sdram_xpc3200.html) With RAM you should keep in mind that the two RAM sticks must have the same speed and timings, preferably they should be identical, to ensure best performance & stability. You may inquire your B&R contact for additional RAM as these are also available separately from B&R.
