Hello,

For the APC 3200 could you suggest a CFExpress card instead of the one provided by B&R?

Hi and welcome to our community,

Unfortunately we can’t recommend other CFe cards beside the ones from B&R.

Just for explanation: the’re no special mechanisms that prohibit or suppress the usage of other cards. But just the B&R cards are really tested for the different use cases, for example about read/write speed, firmware compatibility, endurance, reliability and so on.

For any other cards we don’t have such tests, and therefore we simply don’t know about / can’t guarantee compatibility or usage.

Best regards!

This question has two sides. I think most CFExpress cards you can buy will work, but:

- you will not get support from B&R (not on card only but on functionality itself)
- and it can happen that sooner or later your machine could stop working because of bad functionality.

I was already on a couple of services caused by using non-B&R-proven and even non-industrial versions of CF cards used on the machine. Confusion and service costs are much higher then. So be smart and please use the B&R one 🙂
