Configurable IP for Ethernet/IP Module

Hello, community,

I have an x20cp0884-1 with a remote PowerLink node. It contains an x20IF10D1-1 communication module (Ethernet/IP master) that communicates with a milling machine. In the device configurations of this module, I have to set the IP address of the master (scanner) and the IP address of the slave (adapter) separately.

Can I adjust these IP addresses at runtime, for example make them configurable via a visualization? Are there any libraries that provide functions for this?

Hello,

unfortunatly it not possible to set the IP adress via function blocks.

You could create several hardware configuraiotns and switch this configurations (which include NetX modules and its settings) but this would only be “preconfigured IP adresses” rather than freely chooseable ones
