# Does the OPC UA client work on an Arsim

Hi Johann and welcome to our community. Yes, you can use OPCUA client on ArSim. It can connect to OPCUA server either locally or you can connect to remote OPCUA server as well. But for this you have to set ArSim IP address to physical ethernet port of your PC.
