Hello,

I am doing a project conversion from AS 2.7 to AS 4.2.
The PLC is a 4PP420.1043-75 and till AS 3.0.90 all works fine.
Versions in AS 3.0.90 are:
AR R3.07
ACP10 2.39.2
VC 3.73.4

Now when I pass to AS 4.0.29.87, the rebuild all works fine but when I try to install on the PLC I have such error:

Transferring vcresman (UserROM, Vers: V4.06.2, 10.11.2016, 1543556 Byte, Path: C:\projects\_40\17094\_38\Binaries\Config1\PLC1\) …

Error : Error 9650 while transferring.: Library function not available (System GOT)

Versions in AS 4.0.29.87 are the following:

AR R3.07
ACP10 2.39.2
VC 4.06.2

Any possible reason? I an trying to find out AR 4.x version for 4PP420 but I would like to be sure that it can be the problem

Thanks!

Giovanni

Hi Giovanni,
I don’t have AS 4.0 or AS 4.2 installed on my pc, so I did a quick test with AS 4.12 and old ACP10 version similar to yours and no issue:

For the motion communication are you using CAN or powerlink? Which card do you have?
Can you try with an empty prj with just your power panel and one ACOPOS drive if you have the same issue?

In your case the issue is more related to VC4 (vcresman) and not to AR. Have you tried different VC firmware version too?

I hope it helps
Ciao
Valerio

There is no AR 4 runtime for the 4PP420.1043-75. (only PP65 AR was updated longer)
This seems a VC3 visualisation. I suggest to convert the visualisation from VC3 to VC4, probably in AS V3.0.90 and then go to AS4.
