# Error code 4735 during AS 4.12 installation

In Windows 10+, the .NET Framework is a Windows feature, rather than a separate installation. It can be enabled through the Windows features control box (internet connection required to automatically download and install).

1. Search for “Windows features” in the start search bar, or open the Control Panel \> Programs and Features \> Turn Windows features on or off.
2. Check the box for .Net Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)
