# How to make a mirror copy of a 1382？

Can you please tell me how to make an image backup of an on-board PLC, (without the source program)?

Hi ruiqi, mirror copy as you do it with e.g. CF card using RUC is not possible as far as I know. If MpBackup is part of your sw solution, you can do a backup and restore the project using it later on.
