Is anyone already using ST_OOP?

Hello,

I´m new to AS6 and AS Code. In the past I used AS4.12 and Codesys with emphasis on OOP.

I was wondering if anyone is already using ST_OOP as the available functions are limited and in addition there are some heavy restrictions (e.g classes can only be declared locally as part of a program). Is it even possible to use and profit from ST_OOP in a complex application or is B&R not ready yet ?

I see that with every Automation Studio (AS) release since AS 6.3, R&D has developed new features for Structured Text (ST) Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). I recommend calling your local B&R office to review your requirements with one of our application managers. They have more information about what will be included in upcoming AS releases.

for now we are not using B&R OOP.

We would like to use it but the missing features prevent us from using it.
