PC2100 Project Download Problem

Hello, can you tell me how to load a project onto an empty PC2100 controller? Currently, only the EFI console loads. I tried loading it from a USB flash drive. I created an installation package in AS 4 on the flash drive, inserted it into the controller, plugged it into a free USB port, turned on the controller, and selected the flash drive in the boot menu. I also tried setting the BIOS boot priority to flash drive, but nothing happens. The project doesn’t load, and the EFI console still loads. I don’t have a card reader for the Cfast card yet, so I can’t try it with that. I also can’t find the controller via the Ethernet interface because it’s not configured, as far as I understand. Is there any way to do this, and what am I doing wrong?

None of the APCs have an internal storage containing Automation Runtime (AR). AR is required to running on a CFast card installed in the APC in order for the execution of an installation package from USB. BIOS is not enough to run the installation package; you need an operating system, i.e. AR.

If you have a new enough Automation Studio (AS) version, you can try to the “Create USB Install Drive” (the bottom option”) B&R Online Help.

This makes your USB stick a bootable device with a AR image loaded on it along with the installation package.

I don’t recall if this works for APC/PPC 2100’s, it may require newer hardware to work.

i have as 4.3, in 4.3 this option not available, but i look this option in as 4.10, i try it, b thanks.
