Hello, i am trying to install only PVIManagerAsService with a PVI.ini and CMD Script, but it isn’t working sadly. I don’t really need the other components like PVI Monitor or Runtime utility center. The Version that i’m trying t install is is 4.7.2.30 because we need that Version. that’s how the PVI.ini looks: ![image](https://europe1.discourse-cdn.com/brcommunity/original/2X/1/198560efc67dd1e66fb55e3d44d7dc9bf5590ffa.png) The PVI.ini is in UTF-8 coded. and that’s my Script for it: “C:\PVI\_Manager\4.7.2.30\Setups\Automation Net PVI V4.7.exe” /S /O=“C:\Temp\pvi.ini” /L=1031 ![image](https://europe1.discourse-cdn.com/brcommunity/optimized/2X/d/d4f48022a6ba287c73dd440f813d8a6f6f20f106_2_690x30.png) that’s the Service it is installing, but i am missing the PVI Manager Service after the installation. Can someone please help me to install just that one component? ---

Hello Christian, would it work if you did not install PVI via the command line, but instead ran the setup directly? Best regards, Stephan ---

Hello Stephan, Thank You for the quick reply. yes that works well, the Service appears as B&R PVI Manager. But the thing is i really need it to be automated via Script. ---

Hello, Could you please include a log file? Perhaps the issue will be visible in the logs. “C:\PVI\_Manager\4.7.2.30\Setups\Automation Net PVI V4.7.exe” /S /O=“C:\Temp\pvi.ini” /L=1031 /Log=C:\Temp\InstallationProcess.txt ---

Hello Stephan, here is the content of the Log file: Error: The parameter /Log cannot be specified with the parameter /S because logging is not possible in silent mode. (Error number = 4718) ---

Hello Stephan, Without silent mode, I have to select which components I want to install. That defeats the purpose of what I’m trying to do.
