Why does the APC3100 show a firmware update failed error

I’m trying to update the BIOS on an APC3100 from a1.25 to the latest (a1.46).

Per the suggestion i also tried to use the next in line which is a1.40 but also doing so i run into the same problem with the blue screen showing Firmware update failed!!!

So its not the exact message you have in your screenshot but

InsydeH20 - Secure Flash

Error: Firmware update failed!!!

Please press any key to reset system…

Are there any other items to try? Other than set default values in Bios before starting the update and using a lower version update?

Some additional information.

We do use the APC3100 in our configuration since 2019.

- → That said the apc i have the problem with is one from back than.

On newer APCs that go into our machines we do NOT have this problem and the bios and mtcx update works fine!
