Hi guys, I just released the first version of the widget on GitHub - FBoissadier/mappView-opcuaviewer: A widget library with a opcua client browser widget The version 1.0.0 is available, please don’t hesitate to use issues directly on github if you have some problems or new feature request. I hop…

Hi … great job. Gave it a try - and it seems to work now! One thing which came to my attention: You need to configure the OPC-UA server alias … The widget should also work with an empty alias, as in a simple standard configuration you have no OPC-UA configuration => you also have no alias. CHH

Modification for this error is done you can get the new version on the repo

Yes you are right! I also need to integrate error handling properly and add an OnError event.

Hi Florent, Is there a way to use the widget in mappView 5.24? I have a case right now where I could really use it.

Hi Christian, I’m didn’t have access to my computer until 20 August, I will check when I come back to make it works under mappView 5.24

Hi Christian, I’ve work on the widget to make it working under mappView 5.24 but I didn’t have the toolkit for this version and I got an error that I didn’t solve  On the repo there is a branch 5.24 that have the modification I’ve done. @kovarj maybe you know someone that could help wit…

To the best of my knowledge, WDTC is available only for MV/AS 6.x. The version available for MV/AS 4.x was a previous version of the toolkit and was never publicly released.

@Christian_Schulte the widget is converted for mappView 5.24, I’ve only make quick tests in runtime. It’s available on the 5.24 branch : GitHub - FBoissadier/mappView-opcuaviewer at 5.24 Thanks to @stephan.stricker for the help !

Hi Florent, thank you very much! I will test it soon.

Hi Florent, The widget is really very helpful, especially when you want to determine the data structure of a customer server in order to exchange data with the customer. With the widget, I can only address the server via the alias in the opcuaserver.uaserver Config. I use my project with several …

Hi Christian, Thanks for the feedback! From mappView widget side we can only use opcua using alias, if alias is not specified it will use default one (local one). So we cannot use IP and port  As far as I know we cannot modify this “OpcUaServerConnections” object during runtime …
