5C5001.11 provit 5000 Controller Temp alarm issue

Hello,

I have a controller 5C5001.11 with a temp light and error i tried to send it for repair but it stopped working completely. I got a used replacement and connected it to the machine it seems to also have a temp error and moreover it is also reaching this screen and stuck on it.

I was told by technician that the temp issue was on the controller board and i have replaced the whole board, by a used board but what are the chances that the other board has the same issue too? Does anyone know if this can be fixed or bypassed?

All the fans are coming on.

The screen you see is indicating there is no disk to boot from or the disk is not formatted. Is there a CompactFlash or other removable media in there with a project to boot?

yes there is a CF card that it should boot from but it is not booting

It’s possible the card is damaged.

Hi @khorkhio, have you found a solution for your issue? Has the new card solved your issue?

George Stevens reports an issue with a 5C5001.11 ProVit 5000 controller showing a temperature alarm and failing to boot, getting stuck on a screen indicating no bootable disk. After replacing the controller board with a used one, the same temp error and boot issue persist. All fans are operational. Matt Buck suggests the issue may be due to a missing or improperly formatted CompactFlash (CF) card, and George Stevens confirms a CF card is present but not booting. Matt Buck then notes the card might be damaged. Jaroslav Kovar checks in to ask if a new card resolved the issue, but no resolution is confirmed in the thread. The problem remains unresolved, with suspicion falling on either the CF card or deeper hardware/software compatibility issues despite board replacement.
