Hello everyone. Regarding mapp Motion, do I need to add Config.mappmotion? Wouldn’t it be sufficient to just add Config_1.axis? Would I encounter any problems if I didn’t add Config.mappmotion?
If you don’t insert Mapp Motion Configuration the default settings of the Mapp Motion Configurations are used, so you don’t encounter any problems.
I didn’t quite understand what you meant by default settings. MpAxisBasicConfig allows me to modify the servo’s parameter settings.

several Parameter Files are optional.
If you don’t add a optional File to your configuration View, the System will use the Default (or Inital Values) of these Parameter Settings.
MappMotionConfiguration is such a optional File.
The Configuration File can change for example the execution Task-Class.
If you do not add the Configuration File the system behaves with the default Setting in this Case TC#1 is used as execution Task-Class.
If you add the Configuration file you can change this behaviour.
There is no list of such optional files, but if you don’t add them an the System is running and does not throw an error it is optional.
MappMotionConfiguration does address general mapp motion Settings which affect more than only a axis but the whole motion system.
MpAxisBasicConfig is a Function Block and not a Configuration File.
