the B&R Flash controller is a new amazing product which is planned to be launched by mid of 2024 and which will enhance great offering of integrated machine vision products of B&R (information on the released offerings you can find on the B&R homepage - B&R Vision systems
The main technical characteristics of the flash controller are
- 4 digital outputs (100mA) to be sued for optional triggering of 3rd party cameras
- 4 illuminated flash cannels of 4x20A (in total 80A / 3840W)
- Powerlink connection with integrated hub for connecting it to a B&R PLC and for doing a daisy chaining to other devices
- Perfect synchronization with µs precioisn and a jitter of much less than 1µs
- 150ns rise time for outputs
