I have B&R system consist of : CP3584 with 2 communication module:
1 - X20IF1061-1 ( profibus) - connected to Siemens SIMOCOD module to control group of motors.
2- X20IF1041-1 (CAN OPen) - connected to many devices: remote control receiver , IFM I/O modules.
3 - X20DIF371 Digital input modules.
4 - X20DOF322 Digital Output
6 - X20CS1030 RS485
7- X20AT4222 Analog module
My problem is : after PLC startup , it boot normally and machine run smoothly, but in random times ( may be 5 minutes or 10 minutes) , the PLC suddenly restart , and the machine still running during restart and once booting complete restart , the machine stop.
After check PLC Log , I found this error : “Warning: Cold restart after watchdog or manual reset”.
- For the software , the machine working since 8 years ago , so the PLC software has no problem.
What could leads the PLC to trigger Cold restart ? Could be Hardware issue ?
if yes How can I check this ?
