Convert LIB from older CPU to new

I have som LIB that I run on a X20CPU292
Now I want to upgrade the cpu to a X20CP410
But cant get the LIBs working.
I think i need to compile the libs on the new cpu?
But I dont have the source code of the libs.
Can this be fixed somehow?

Hi Hans,
are the problematic LIBs B&R Libraries, or User-Libs that you dont have the sources to?

Im guessing you get errors when compiling? what are those errors?

How did you change the cpu from CP0292 to CP0410? Did you create a new project? or did you make a “Replace Hardware Module” by right-clicking on the CPU in physical view?

What Automation Studio Version are you working with?

regards Stefan

Hi @HansP

Do you still need help with this topic? If so, can you please answer Stefan’s questions?

Sorry, got problem to login on the community.

Its a user LIB not a BR LIB

I have try both whit new project and to replace the hardware in existing project.
Got the same error.

Now trying just whit one lib for sorting thing out.
Got this warning: Binary file libBRSE_MB.a of library BRSE_MB could not be found. Build errors may occur.
Binary file BRSE_MB.br of library BRSE_MB could not be found. Build errors may occur.

And error: Unable to open file C:\Dropbox\PLC Program AS4.12\NY_CPU\Temp\Objects\Config1\X20CP0410\BRSE_MB.br

I use AS4.12.6.106

BRSE_MB is a library created by the B&R Swedish office. I suggest you contact the swedish support email address Support.SE@br-automation.com for this request.
