I am testing network connection between PLC application runing in AS simulator and other PC where I have shared folder. I want to use DevLink because the network credentials and folder path can be changed by end user anytime later. I am using latest AS version 12 with AR J4.93. I’ve used DevLink many times in older AS version projects with no problem, but never before in simulation. Now I get DevLink status 9999 what should mean that this function is not implemented. No other FileIO functions are used, at the moment I only want to attach a network device. Is this function available in simulation mode?

DevLink has limitations on an ArSim. They are documented in AS-Help.
You have to use a real PLC to test these kind of connections.
