Hello, we have 4PP450.0571-K01 POWER PANEL panels, we need help activating the modbus TCP and rtu since it does not work , can anyone help with this issue?
Hi @topoviima ,
I have found few posts in our Community talking about Modbus RTU and TCP/IP for example:
a) Modbus RTU: Libary to controll a Nanotec Controller via Modbus RTU
b) Modbus TCP/IP: Using ETH port as Modbus Master and Slave
Thanks
Ciao

Would be great to describe what you have already tried? A description that it does not work is not very helpful ![]()
The problem is that we don’t even have the source code of the project, and we don’t even have communication via the rs/com/eth port (
Hello,
If you don’t have the Automation Studio project, you won’t be able to make any changes. You definitely need the Automation Studio project (source files) to do this.
Once you have the project, you can check the Ethernet settings so you can connect to the device. After making any changes, you can then upload the updated project.
If you know that Modbus (RTU or TCP) is activated, maybe because of it was working in the past, you could try to check the wiring or if something is broken.
Hm, I agree with Samuel. If it was working before, check the physical HW and wiring. If you want to activate it as a new feature, you need a project. In this case, you have to get in contact with the machine producer. Sorry from discussion point of view this is max we can tell you based on information we know so far..
The point is that, as far as I know, modbas has never worked on these panels, and we don’t know where to get even the original project
hm then it does not have solution. sorry.
