With large mappView project, during compilation AS shows message “Delete all widget libraries.” for long time → 3 minutes. Project and AS on defender whitelist.
What is causing that?

I’m not sure that’s the “Delete all widget libraries” that is taking long time, sometimes in the AS Compillation the messages displayed in the Output is display at the end of the action.
I don’t know for this specific message but maybe you can use the compilation option “-profile” in the additionnal build option to check timing.

Hi,
I think it’s more this line that takes time, mapp View take around 6 seconds, I think it’s something else in your project. Maybe you have big libraries?
what is it? Is it mandatory or could be switched off?
If I’m right, it’s the mapping of your variables in memory, it’s a linker process so you cannot disable it
