Modbus RTU - MBMOpen - Error 20292

Hello,
The customer had two identical tasks:

1. Task on X20CP1584, AR Q4.93 – Worked.
2. Task on 4PP451.0571-B5, AR I3.1 – Did not work – Error 20292.

The FB MBMOpen() consistently reported error 20292 whenever it was called.

We checked the hardware, the task, and everything else, but we were unable to get Modbus running on the 4PP451.0571-B5. Same code and connection on X20CP1584 works.

We discovered that the DRV_mbus library has a dependency on DVFrame, requiring at least version V3.42.3.
Since this version depends on the AR version, it is not possible to use the FB MBMOpen() with AR I3.1 on the 4PP451.0571-B5.

Solution :
Choose different hardware that supports a higher version of AR.

(We have some other libraries in the project as well, but I’ve deleted them out to make the code easier to navigate visually.)
