ODBC Microsoft Access Driver Login Failed error when adding a blank ST-Program All In One to the current project

I am experiencing an ODBC Microsoft Access Driver Login Failed error in Automation Studio when adding a blank ST-Program All In One to the existing project.

When I click on “OK”, this window shows up:

When I click on “Database…”, this window shows up:

When I click on “OK”, I’ve got the same “Not a valid password” error.

When I click on “Cancel”, I’ve got a low memory error, but I have plenty of RAM available.

However, the blank ST All in one program was added successfully and I was able to compile the project successfully. B&R support engineer believes the issue is Windows 11 and a Windows re-installation might be required.

I also have Automation Studio 6.5 installed on the same laptop and I did not have any error when adding a new program in Automation Studio.

I am running AS 4.12.9.18 and here is my runtime versions:

Thanks,

Hi @Phong_Vo ,
as you said Support (L1) is working on your case, L1 can create a CASE (Community doesn’t do that) and review your case with L2 and R&D.
I recommend to continue the investigation with Support (L1) and update us when you’ll find the cause of the problem.

I can only say starting with AS6 the dependencies on this ODBC database were removed, that’s why you don’t see that message with AS 6.x
