Hello All, I use MappView to primarily be used on a PC Screen. But during commissioning it would be great to use a mobile phone. Strangely I-Phones can zoom and pinch but not Androids - whatever settings are done on the Android phones does not solve the problem. Is there an easy way to allow also Android phones to zoom and pinch?
Hi,
I’ve never tried, but as it works on IOS but not on Android, I think the behavior is based on different clients, are you using the same browser on both devices?
You could have a look into the visualization settings in mappView (section “configuration → browserZoom”), but I’m not sure if it will change the behavior:
Bedt regards!
Agree with Alexander. I would try on Android the same browser that you use on iPhone.
Thanks Both, I tried Firefox on both and native browsers as well - always IOS can zoom and pinch, but not Android. It seems to be the OS (Android = strict, IOS = not so strict) that enforces “Do not allow zooming” . I cannot find any place where to change “browserZoom” in mappView configuration View.
Cheers.
Hi,
you have to add this parameter in your visualisation configuration file (a .vis file in your mapp View package in configuration view, name depends on your project).
Add the parameter in the Configurations section of the file, here’s a example screenshot (please double-check parameters name with help, as I haven’t tested the entry from my screenshot, just added it for explanation):
Best regards!
Thanks Alexander! Great.
Did the Trick!
