Release 2026 : Learning Content for End Users and Service Engineers: SDM

Free Learning: SDM

To support users who need quick and reliable diagnostic insights without deep Automation Studio knowledge, we’ve released a free microlearning module for the System Diagnostic Manager (SDM).
This module was created specifically for end users and service engineers who want to better understand their machine’s diagnostic data and prepare meaningful information for support cases.

The System Diagnostic Manager helps you collect loggers, system dumps, profiler data, and detailed hardware/software information—making troubleshooting faster and more structured.

:bullseye: What you will learn (learning objectives)

This free module enables you to:

  • Identify the main SDM components and understand their functions.

  • Access SDM via a web browser and navigate its interface.

  • Check and interpret system, hardware, and software information.

  • Use Logger and Profiler to analyze events and performance data.

  • Open system dumps and profiler data in Automation Studio for deeper diagnostics.

  • Combine different diagnostic data to detect error patterns and derive solutions.

  • Use SDM results efficiently for troubleshooting, support communication, and documentation.
