Solving early OPC UA Any connection errors in Automation Runtime

Hello @pavel.vavra,

Thanks for these useful tips.
Do you know how to remove the log entry that indicates the client (OPC UA Any) is trying to connect to the server before it has finished booting up?

Hello @ballazr,

Could you please try it with the newest Automation Runtime, 6.7.5?

Hi,

Last runtime and OPCUA C/S package did not change the log entry
We can see the UA client try to connect to the server before the runtime finish booting up

OPCUA_any is trying to establish connection to external OPCUA server, right? If so, try to increase PnP init parameter. B&R Online Help

Hi Jaroslav,

No it is for connection to localhost OPC UA Server → goal is to get the number of current active clients session

context topic B&R OPC-UA Server Connected Client Information - Ask Questions / B&R Software & Runtime - B&R Community

And what about to increase this init parameter? I do not think that OPCUA_any client is checking state of internal OPCUA server.

I have tested with 10s in the init parameter but I cannot see the difference

there are two parameters, try to increase both a lot.. e.g. to 60s, just for testing. I do not think that you can do more here.

Hello,

I’ve tested it with the same versions and a few different parameters for the “PnP timeouts” and haven’t been able to avoid the -1070584042 error.

I suggest reporting it to your local B&R support.
