What is the firmware version and can it be upgraded later?
In what way can I know the HW version of the program running in the PLC?
Can you do it without the source program?
The firmware version can be seen on the B&R web page, where the upgrade can be downloaded.

The versions can be updated by downloading a new upgrade with the Tools → Upgrades menu and then changing the version in the Automation Studio project HW configuration and transferring the software.
