Hi everyone,
I wanted to share a bit of helpful information about a possible cause of the “Temperature sensor not connected or destroyed” error.
This error has a couple of resolution suggestion
This error typically comes with a few suggested resolutions, but I think one important potential cause is missing. Setting the controller mode to Voltage/Frequency control on a P3 can trigger this error.
It’s a simple issue, but if—like me—you assume the problem is related to a temperature sensor or the temperature model (as the error message suggests), it’s easy to overlook this by focusing only on temperature‑related parameters.
Switching the controller mode back to Position Control should resolve the issue.
Hopefully this helps save you some time and prevents you from troubleshooting in the wrong area if you encounter the same situation.
