11169 BR module cannot be created in the target memory

Hello, I’m trying to download a software in the target, but every time the system gives to me that kind of error:

The compilation of the project is ok. Do you know how to solve it?

Welcome to the Community!

This message means that Automation Studio had trouble transferring the compiled project to the target. Here are some things you can try:

  • Power cycle and transfer again
  • Transfer in Service mode (click “Stop Target” in Automation Studio to put the PLC into Service Mode"
  • Transfer offline if possible

Perhaps the name 11169 name as br module is not allowed/reserved. Rename the name and use normal characters like a-z.
