WDTC Licensing
In this section, you will find detailed information about the available licenses, version history, and how to download the software. Demo Mode
Free to use but with limitations; widgets compiled in demo mode are not for production and may stop working without warning.
Licensed Version
Removes demo limitations, allowing unrestricted widget creation and usage. Licenses managed through Technology Guarding in Automation Studio.

Single License [1TG6MPVIEWDTC.00] - Single Widget Development Tool Chain
The single license allows the use of the Widget Development Tool Chain by exactly one user for a period of one year. After one year, the license will automatically be extended an additional year and invoiced accordingly if the license has not been cancelled before expiration. -
Site License [1TG6MPVIEWDTC.01] - Site Widget Development Tool Chain
A site license allows the use of the Widget Development Tool Chain by any number of users at a single company location. The users must be employed at the respective company site but can use the Widget Development Tool Chain regardless of their location (internationally active service technicians, for example).After one year, the license will automatically be extended an additional year and invoiced accordingly if the license has not been cancelled before expiration. -
Corporate License [1TG6MPVIEWDTC.02] - Corporate Widget Development Tool Chain
The corporate license allows the use of the Widget Development Tool Chain by all users at a company at all company’s sites, including all associated companies, for a period of one year. After one year, the license will automatically be extended an additional year and invoiced accordingly if the license has not been cancelled before expiration.

WDTC Versions history
The WDTC and mapp View version needs to be aligned
The WDTC does not ship any binaries (-> Cyber Security). To ensure that WDTC loads only the correct tools, the WDTC has a checksum built in, which needs to match to the tools, which are part of the mapp View package. So you have always a direct 1:1 relation.
