Hi Community,
In case I have an existing project mapp View in version v6.3.3 and then upgrades to v6.3.4.
Do I then need to request for a new WDTC version for v6.3.4?

in short: WDTC and mapp View version needs to be aligned
longer one: The WDTC does not ship any binaries (-> Cyber Security). To ensure that WDTC loads only the correct tools, the WDTC has a checksum built in, which needs to match to the tools, which are part of the mapp View package. So you have always a direct 1:1 relation
Hi,
To be honnest I don’t really know if you need to perfect match the version, I would say that only major and minor must be the same but not sure.
I know that for example there is change made in mappView 6.4 that require to rebuild you widget library with the WDTC V6.4 else the widget compilation in AS will throw errors.

Florent
This information I got from the development team
could be that it is not checked by AS, but I would take it as a requirement.
Good to know
Thanks for sharing it ![]()
