I am on OEM, my customer power panel after running for years just started to boot up in service mode. Is there a way to have the customer grab the logbook to see why it is in service mode?

See the following post on the Community indicating methods to collect diagnostics. If the AR was from the AS 2.7 generation, then the SDM is not available. The easiest method is to use the CF card instructions in the post.
