ACOPOS 1045 with AC110 Module - Boot error on CAN Basic Hardware

Dear community members,

I would like some more information regarding the error LED of the ACOPOS 1045 drive blinking 4 times shortly after the device boots up. Does this indicate a hardware fault on the device or can it also be that the device was initially configured to operate with a different kind of module (e.g. Powerlink V1)?

Fact is that on newer ACOPOS devices (Rev. VI for example), the AC110 and Powerlink V2 (AC114) modules are interchangeable and are always being recognized immediately by the drive, however I don’t know if this also applies to the older generations (e.g. Rev. Q0).

Thank you for your support!

Hello Spyros,

all ACOPOS-2 devices can be operated with AC110 and AC114 regardless of the Rev., they recognize the plug-in module automatically.

According to the documentation ACOPOS LED Status

these are the possible errors:

  • ACOPOS servo drive defect
  • Plug-in module defect
  • Plug-in module not inserted correctly in the slot

Thank you for your prompt reply, Martin!
