For my project, we used ACOPOS 6D with 86 Segments, and the layout is shown in the figure below. The current issue is that when we set the master on either the 1st or 10th Segment, we are unable to communicate with all the Segments. Currently, our tests are not controlled by PLC, but are configured using PMTool.
Power supply configuration: Green represents a power supply with 6 Segments, blue represents a power supply with 5 Segments, and yellow represents a power supply with 7 Segments.
PMC Versi on
But if we reduce the number of Segments, it will work. We have tried setting the master to number 1, removing the right part of the Segments, and it was able to communicate. However, if we add one more segment, it will all fail., it will all fail.
We have tried setting the master to number 10, removing the upper part of Segment. This still enables communication. However, if we add one more segment, it will all fail., it will all fail.
It can be initially determined that the position of the master (the position where it is connected to the PMC) and the number of communications are related. We have learned that one PMC can control up to 200 Segments, but currently we have only connected less than 100 of them and it doesn’t work.We hope to receive guidance from ever yone.
