We are using the External brake with the acopos multi drive (controlled by B+ and B-) . while configuring the brake we have also added the para ID (90 - 2) and (86 - ncSWITCHOFF). The brake is working but while testing the motor in exclusive mode, when the controller is on it is giving the error 6030. What should we do to rectify the error.

i think you are going in the right direction… with ParID90.
With Value 2 you deactivated Bit0 which is by default set. And you activated Bit1. But as the Errortext in AsHelp mentions you must set Bit2 to disable the Monitoring.
Suggestion ParID 90 = 6
6 = 2#00_0000_0110

Hello,
Maybe another hint.
If you want to operate the Brake as a normal Motor-Brake you can write the
required ParIDs for the Motordatasheet. This will tell the ACOPOS that the Motor has a Brake.
These Values are also Part of the Motor_Any in the Hardware View.
