In aprol, 389DS is used.
We want to be able to set the life cycle of the password.
I added the ‘passwordexpirationtime’ setting and set the time.
It doesn’t seem to be working. Why is that?
Hi community, can anyone help Jin with this APROL topic as well?
To actually enable password expiration on the LDAP server, the global password policy must be configured appropriately.
In APROL R4.2, you could use the 389-console for configuring the password policy:
In APROL R4.4, you have to configure the password policy attributes (passwordExp and passwordMaxAge) manually, as mentioned in the documentation B&R Online Help
The “passwordExpirationTime” attribute indicates the next expiration date for a user’s password, which is effective only if the global password policy enforces expiration.
Thank you for your replay.
I set like the picture in APROL4.2, and save, then restart.
But it does not work.
Please get in contact with APROL support team.
Now it worked.
Thank you very much.
