AS6 - Unable to edit any C - Soucefile

I Updated the 1st AS4.12 - Project to AS6.
So far so good, but AS6 immediatly crashes, if I open any C - Sourcefile (.c, .h)!
Any idea?

Tried to find the reason (as AS4.12 has no problems any way) and got further insights:

If I do a “Project - Clean Configuraqtion - Delete all temporary files”, all C - Files could be edited without any issue!

But as sonn as I build or rebuild the Configuration, the problem happens again,
AS6 crashes after opening any C - Source.

So for me, there must be a problem within the temp - folder and the Tempoary files!

The question is, what AS6 accesses from this folder when opening a C -File?!

Header files e.g. (Temp/Includes)

I’d open a ticket! Since AS6 is not released yet (is it?) this is probably still a “beta bug” I guess.

Best regards,
Marcel

AS V6.0.2.177 was released on July, 22nd so this is an official release!

Oh, thanks for the update

This is going a bit strange.
I created a new project with AS6 and added a “ANSI C Programm All in One”.
Same problem, after Build AS6 crashes if I try to edit “program.c”
But I found the reason:
If the File “program.ox” is present in the temp - folder, AS6 crashes.
If I simply delete this file, no more crash till next build.

Maybe some AS6 - Developers have an idea?

Hey again

They sure will, but for such obvious bugs or rather bugs in general a support ticket should be created in the customer support portal. It could even be that no developer at all is registered in the community! If you don’t know it yet, you can get in touch with your local sales contact! But the info is highly appreciated, I also have some “C” projects.

Best regards,
