Automation Studio 6 / mapp View 6.6.0 build failure on Windows 11 ARM (Parallels)

Hi,

I’m running B&R Automation Studio 6 in Windows 11 ARM through Parallels on an MacBook M3.

When building a project with mapp View 6.6.0, I get the following error:

'"C:\Program Files (x86)\BRAutomation\AS6\AS\TechnologyPackages\mappView\6.6.0\IATC\jsBuild\node_modules\.bin\\node_x86.exe"' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

This is followed by errors about a missing buildReport.json and “The grunt build output file is missing.”

What I have checked:

• Reinstalling mapp View 6.6.0 did not resolve the issue.

• The installation contains node_x64.exe, but no node_x86.exe.

My suspicion is that the architecture detection selects the x86 branch in Automation Studio’s build environment, even though the supplied x64 Node executable can run.

Has anyone encountered this? Is there an official fix or a recommended compatibility/emulation setting for this configuration?

mappView build failed in Windows on ARM environment

If it still doesn’t work, please let me know.

And in mappView 6.7, node.exe exists only in 64-bit.
