I’m currently migrating a project from APROL 4.2-06 to APROL 4.4-65.
Cae Backup and Restore is fine, i have some blocks modification to do but nothing big.
My problem is on Automation Studio. How can i migrate my 6 controlers from AS 4.8 to AS 6.5 ? i did not find anything about that on documentation.
Did i need to install 4.8 and 6.5 on my pc, export each project, convert it on my pc and export it back to aprol ? Is it the best and efficient way ?

to be honest I have absolutly no clue of APROL but I might have an idea why your project cannot be converted
As it is an AS4.8 project I think that the used PLC inside this project can no longer be used in AS6.x
B&R decided to no longer support old and outdated PLCs within AS6.x
Please see Hardware
If you use a X20CP14xx (34xx) or CP15xx (CP35xx) then AS6.x will not upgrade the project as this types of PLCs are no longer supported in AS6.x
Please check the above mentioned help page if your PLC is supported by AS6

I know that some types of PLCs are not supported, mines are good (X20CP3687X).
The message is here because on the VM i only have AS 6.5.
It’s a very APROL related question, I already see some scripts to do the conversion inside Toolkits of this community but I want to be sure that APROL authorize this or to know the correct way to do this.
I don’t know how an AS project is the same inside an APROL project or not.
