Beginner Help Needed: X20CP0484 PLC and X20CS1030 Modbus RTU Configuration

Hello Everyone,

I am a beginner with B&R Automation Studio and currently working with an X20CP0484 PLC and X20CS1030 module.

Could anyone please provide a simple guide for:

  • Configuring the X20CS1030 for Modbus RTU communication.
  • Basic Structured Text (ST) code for testing Modbus communication.
  • Reading and writing Modbus registers.
  • Any sample project or documentation for beginners.

Any help or example would be greatly appreciated.

If you struggle in some step, something is not clear, or whatever, feel free to ask here. Good discussion can be started if you provide complete info, so what you are going to achieve, what you have already done, what is working, and what is not working. Principles are always welcomed.
