Good afternoon Tell me, I have an Acopos 1045 servo(8v1045.00-2 Rev Q0), is it possible to connect and program the induction motor. I understand that this is a servo, but knowing the experience of Siemens, where it is possible to connect induction to a servo, the question arises, is there such a thing here?
There is also a question, is it possible to configure the motor connection without an encoder?
Hello,
yes you can configure an Induction Motor while using an ACOPOSservo drive.
For ACOPOS P3 i know encoderless Operation was introduced, but i am not sure if this Software is compatible to an 8V1045 because this hardware was already discontinued back in the days.
There is a basic UF-Mode available but i am not sure if the ACOPOS will need an encoder for this. I never used it, please have a look in the manual.
Greetings
Michael
Hello,
you can either use the induction motor with an encoder the same way as you would use a synchronous motor.
But you’ve to insert the motor parameters
Without any encoder you can still use your induction motor but there is only the very
basic U/f control available, so no vector control:
