Can we create permanent variables in 4PPC80_121E_10B?

Hi Everyone,
My question is can we create Permanent Variables in 4PPC80_121E_10B?
Hence Previously I was using PPC2100 and some of the variables which I have created in Permanent Variables retrieve their values when I Rebuilds the Project or going for the clean configuration Option. Now the Hardware has been changed,
Therefore whenever I Rebuilds the project or clean config. or go for Cold Restart all variables whose values are not saved in Recipe can’t retrieve their values and becomes Zero.
Please give response by eliminating the Save those variables value in Recipe Option.]

Hello,

please create a new variable and select “retain”

Then switch to the configuration view and open the file “cpu.per” - here you need to add the previously created variable

but does 4PPC80 have permanent variable memory to Restore Variable value?

You are right - sorry I overlooked that you have a C80 Target
Unfortunatly permanent variables are not available on such targets

Thanks, I just needs that confirmation. If possible could you tell me where should I look for this Particular information(Is it in the C80 Manual)?

There is a general hint in AS online help that permanent variables are not supported on every target:
