Hi, using ruc to create a CFast card I have an issue where the card is not recognised despite being plugged in through a card reader. There is no error message just no card appears.
Has anyone had a problem like this and can offer any guidance please?

is the card recognized by windows explorer (outside of RUC)?
If no, I would recommend to check if the windows disk management shows a uninitialized disk if the card is plugged into the cardreader, and if yes trying to initialize this disk, adding a partition and format the partition.
Disk management can be opened for example by:
- Step 1. Press Windows + R at the same time to open Run dialogue.
- Step 2. Input diskmgmt.msc and hit Enter to open Disk Management.
Please be careful using disk management and double-check if you’re really using the right disk before perfoming any action on the device!
(for removable devices it’s easy to check it by removing and plugging in again the device while disk management app is opened - you should see then the device disappearing and appearing again inside disk management).
