Hi
I am currently trying to show a HMI project from WebIQ on a PMT50.0702-19B. I have establisched an OPCUA connection between the PLC and HMI designer and made a project. There is an server setup with the HMI project that is accessible from the internet browser.
Now i want to display the project on the PMT50 but i am having trouble. I have added the ip adress/url into the PMT50 through the “web” settings but it doesnt seem to connect.
I have pinged the HMI through the command promt and there is an connection between my laptop(where the server runs) and the HMI.
If someone could help that would be great
Did you also specify the port number of the WebIQ Server in the address/url.
Yes the port number is also specified, the following image is what I have currently in the HMI
Which should result in:
I have also tried it with just the “192.168.10.10:10123” which should take you to the runtime manager but that also does not happen.
So the screenshot is from a different laptop or from the same device ?
Else it could be a firewall thing.
It is from a different device.
The picture is from the HMI and the screenshot is from the laptop.
it could indeed be a firewall issue, so for incoming connections I added the following rule to let this port go through. but it did not change the outcome.
When using wireshark the following shows.
So after this I went and edited the network connections in the group policy editor and added rules to the defender to let the port go through.
It wasnt until I shut off my firewall completely that the issue was “fixed”, my HMI connects with the server. but shutting off my firewall is not the ideal solution.
EDIT:
I have solved this issue, the network profile was set to public, i have changed it to private and now the HMI works.
Tnks for your messages
