Every once in a while after the installation of an ACP10 version in Automation Studio it might happen that not expected issues occur, which did not appear before. These include:
-
Empty NC init parameter table
-
Empty ACOPOS parameter table
-
NC manager configuration empty
-
NC test window Motion parameter structure missing
-
NC trace window reports “00 datapoints found” when opening a trace
Example from a problem situation:
The problem in such a case can be cached files from Automation Studio which were corrupted during installation of a new ACP10 version or during opening/closing Automation Studio.
To fix the issue, follow these steps:
-
Close Automation Studio
-
Open Windows Explorer and enter %TEMP% in the address line.
This opens up the Temp folder:
C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\Temp
username stands for the currently logged in Windows user account name.
- Find the folder “Motion”
- Delete the mentioned folder “Motion”
- Open Automation Studio again
The problem will be fixed by forcing Automation Studio to re-create the cached files.
