Hi. I’m new to Automation Studio. I have an X20 PLC here and I basically want to go online and be able to monitor the logic, but I am having difficulty.
I can go online but it only pulls the hardware configuration but not the actual code. Can somebody please help?

You cannot upload the code from a PLC
If you want to have the logic then you need to contact your machine manufacturer and ask for the project of your machine

Project transfers can be done in different ways in B&R PLCs. In order for the project to include source codes, the source code transfer option must be enabled and transfered to the PLC. You can only get the source code from a program that has been transferred in this way via the PLC. Otherwise, if the project files were transferred without this option enabled, you will not be able to access these files at all. In such cases, you do not have much choice other than requesting the source code from the manufacturer.
If you want to monitor project and you do not have source files, then, as Oliver mentioned, you have to contact machine manufacturer.
