HMI loses connection right after login in

Hi,

I’m working on my first Mapp View project to build an HMI. When I deploy the project to ARSim, everything works perfectly. However, when I transfer it to my physical PLC (X90CP174.24-00), I can connect to the web interface, but after succesfully logging in, I immediately get a message saying the connection was lost.

I’ve tried troubleshooting but haven’t found a solution yet. Has anyone experienced this before or knows what might be causing it?

Take a look into logger…I think there can be stored cause of your problem.

Hi there,

just as a heads-up: if you are currently using mappView 6.3.1 - this might be the culprit. In this case, upgrade to 6.3.2 or 6.4

Make sure the PLC time and date is correct

It was indeed the date&time that weren’t in sync….

mappView 5.24.5 - a feature to renew session cookie was introduced

A little theory mappView client creates and stores a session cookie during startup to store some local information about the client. The current date and time is used for that with validation for 400 days. This opens the question of what will happen after those 400 days.
