How does Font distribution work properly?

I have a mapp view visualization with a custom font.

I have set the url of my visualization to

http://IP:81/Seite1/

Which works, but the mapp server tries to provide the font under

http://IP:81/BRVisu/Fonts/myfont.ttf

Which is not found. How can i get font distribution working? The help only states that it should work automatically, but i have no idea where the “BRVisu” naming is coming from

I am not an MappView Expert but i like to show how i tried it, and give some ideas.
Currently using AS6.5 MappView 6.5 - But i think the process is the same.

  1. First you add the Font to the MappView Resources-

  2. Add an MappView Element using the Font

  3. Transfer

  4. Load Page in Browser

The BRVisu is some internal Keyword, which is used by the B&R Developer (i think).
I don’t think this is the issue.

  • I used a clean Name without special characters. Did you try to test a simpler Name for your ttf File?

  • Can you update to the latest 4.12 Version for MappView and Automation Runtime?

You have to configure it, as Michael has tried to show you, and it should work. Font is transferred from server to client if the font is not installed there. It must be a TrueType font or OpenType font. More details here: B&R Online Help
