Hello, good morning. I’m new to PLC programming and I have a 2005 series CP360RW-PCI/2 CPU. The project is apparently programmed in Automation Studio v2.3/v2.5, but I can’t find any software download links. I’ve already created a virtual machine with Windows XP to run it, but I would appreciate it if someone could share the software download links.

AS 2.3 is a very old version of automation studio and I believe it is not available due to export regulation.
The closest I can get is version 2.7: https://www.br-automation.com/en/downloads/software/automation-studio/automation-studio-270/automation-studio-v27/

I had succesfully in the past converted AS2.5 Projects to V2.7. Maybe that works also for you.
In the Moment you will get the Automation Studio V2.7 from our website if you search in the very normal search field for “Automation Studio V2.7”.
Also you will find the Upgrades if you search for “AS V2.7”.
How long this Software will be available there? I do not know!
Have in mind that this old Software is no longer supported. Thats the reason it is no longer to see in the normal Software download Area.

in case you need exactly AS 2.3 or 2.5 you need to contact our Support in your area.
I don’t see a B&R office in Argentina, but we have 2 in Brazil B&R locations

Conversion from AS V2.3 to AS V2.7:
In ASV2.3 data-objects and input output tasks were used to link variables to physical I/O.
In AS V2.5 this I/O system changed and I/O mapping was introduced.
This means that variable names should be linked to this new I/O mapping in the physical view and the old data-objects,input and output tasks should be deleted.
